Shy or Insecure Sheppard

Hello!  I'm looking for fics where Sheppard is shy around a woman (or man) he is attracted to; unsure his interest/attraction will be reciprocated.  Bonus points for fics where he ends up with his love interest.  Thanks!

You might like some of race_the_ace's stories. She's got a masterlist in her journal, try out the stories that seem interesting.

If you don't mind mpreg, Surrogate (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=85) might be to your taste. John's in love with Rodney, but he's convinced that Rodney could never want him back so he's determined to keep quiet about it.

Thanks, gaffsie! McShep isn't my favorite pairing - I really love Sheppard and McKay as best buddies or even brothers - but I'll check it out. Good writing is good writing. :)

I wish I could think of any other examples. I know I've read non-McShep stories like that, but I'll be damned if I could remember anything about them. :/ I'll let you know if I come up with anything else.

Thanks for trying to rack your brain to come up with something. It was a stretch to hope for many fics featuring 'shy Sheppard'. And regarding the mpreg...I don't mind those stories. They can be fun, especially when it's done in a serious and realistic way (as realistic as possible with a man becoming pregnant) ;)
