hey guys I was wondering if you could find me some fics centered around
John where a) Sumner is alive and how this affects his relationships,
role etc. , or b) where John is somehow infected with a Goa'uld, or
captured by them. (more Milky Way focused fics)

And miss_porcupine has some ficlets and such in her SumnerVerse that show how it could have been for John and Atlantis as a whole had Sumner lived.

Can I assume that you have read Raiders of the Seven Systems? Among its other themes is John post-Goa'uld-enslavement. It also has SG1.

In the first, John realizes that Rodney has been kidnapped by an AU expedition where the Goa'uld took over Atlantis, and they have to go there to rescue him.
