John is a Straight Ally fics!

Hi! I am looking for fics where John is totally supportive of the LGBT soldiers under his command, even if he's technically not supposed to know if anyone in particular is gay under DADT. Even better if he helps protect someone close to him who is gay (i.e. Lorne). (Though DADT doesn't necessarily have to be a theme.)

John himself can be gay as well, of course, and be supportive of LGBT soldiers because he's in the same boat. But I'd especially love to read stories in which he's just a straight ally being a good friend and good military commander of Atlantis. That would be awesome.

Stories do not have to include homophobia (whether in character or OOC) in order to portray John as an ally, though I won't say no to them either. What I mean is, I don't actually need IOA being asshats just so John can be an ally.

Can be gen, femslash, slash, het, poly, whatever. Anything goes, except NO John/Rodney! Thanks in advance!
