I'm looking for fics where Rodney pretty much thinks he's too unattractive for anyone to like him, let alone John.

Something where John has to work to prove to Rodney that he's serious because Rodney just doesn't believe John would want him.

I am looking for a bit of angst for Rodders, but happy endings are a must.

I know this idea (Rodney grateful and amazed) is a common thread in a lot of McShep fics, but I'm more interested in fics where this is the central theme.

Where Rodney has some pretty dark thoughts about his lot in life, and where that darkness is inevitably dispelled by the glory of Shep (amen)

I read a great fic

where John asked Rodney to jerk off for him, but Rodney couldn't believe that anyone, let alone John would be interested in seeing that. But of course John is and the happy ensues. :) And another where Rodney tells John his fantasy, becasue it couldn't be a reality) is John jumping Rodders and having him up against a wall like he really missed him. And of course John does actually feel like jumping Rodders because he missed him and the happy ensues.

Thats the kind of thing I mean.
