Okay, here's the thing. I've gone through the previous searches for Miko-centric stories in this comm, but (unless I missed something) all the recs in those entries are either about gen Miko background stories or about Miko rising to the occasion as a fighter. Now, don't misunderstand me, I adore those types of stories as much as anyone else, but, Miko is a scientist first and foremost, so right now *this* is what I'm looking for:

[...] Miko's telling off lab assistants who evidently did *something* stupid if the tone of voice she's using is anything to go by. Rodney's probably proud of his influence on his minions. Sheppard's sure he remembers a time Miko wouldn't say boo to a goose, let alone browbeat three people at once. (from Offer Extends to the Pegasus Galaxy by Gunbunny)

So, does anyone know if there are any fanfics where Rodney's influence on his scientists is that far-reaching? I would love to see a story that basically boils down to an extended version of the quote above, but I'd also like anything that's even remotely similar. I prefer Miko to be the scientist in question, but honestly, if you know a similar story that is about another scientist, I'll be just as happy with it. Pairings and genre are immaterial.
