OT4 Tropes
Apr. 24th, 2011 07:49 pmHi guys! I'm looking for all your favorite OT4 fics that illustrate any common trope. I'm most interested in works posted between 2009 and now, but I will also happily take older works, so long as they fit a trope. Links to lists are great, too. Basically, anything OT4 and tropish is great.
(I have looked at old OT4 requests here, and rest assured I'll be using the info posted there as well!)
Thanks for your time, and thanks to the mods for helping me figure out how to post!

Date: 2011-04-27 11:26 pm (UTC)Let us go then, you and I (http://sageness.livejournal.com/903683.html) by Sage and Crawling out from the inside (http://torakowalski.livejournal.com/69004.html) by Tora both have the 'emotionally-unavailable-commitment-phobe!John having to be gentled by the rest of the team into an OT4 relationship' trope. Plus, 'Crawling' has the obligatory alien-sex-ritual to boot.
The right place (http://www.ltljverse.com/watergate/stories/rightplace.htm) by Victoria Custer deals with the 'John freaking out post-Common Ground about the whole Wraith feeding torture thing' trope. It's not technically an OT4 pairing, but it feels very OT4ish to me, even if the only actual sex in it is Ronon/John. IMO, at least, the story is pre-OT4 at least.
The kitten invasion (http://tongues.brokensymmetry.net/viewstory.php?sid=108) by Idyll has the 'domestic not-quite-bliss back on Earth' trope, with an OT4 relationship. It's shamelessly adorkable fluff. And there are 2 sequels here (http://tongues.brokensymmetry.net/viewseries.php?seriesid=8).
this, this (is history) (http://etben.livejournal.com/58598.html) by Etben has the 'team sleeping tangled up like a pile of puppies' trope, but honestly, that isn't the least of why it's just a beautiful piece of writing dealing with post-theArk Teyla.
The complexities of daily life (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=12481) by Teaphile has the 'stranded in Pegasus for good/ learning to live in native Pegasus culture' trope as well as a healthy dose of 'emotionally-unavailable-commitment-phobe!John having to be gentled by the rest of the team into an OT4 relationship'.

You're awesome! ♥
