Teyla/John

After reading Revelations and Expectations and the SGA Novel Homecoming, I got an itch for Teyla/John fic, especially those that deal with Torren (either as Kanaan's or John's). I seem to have problems, outside of the bigbangs, finding longer fics dealing with this pairing. Anyone have some good recs or rec lists?

I would recommend anything & everything written by wedjatqi -- I'm pretty sure all of her longer stories are over on Fanfiction.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/953524/Wedjatqi) (link will take you to her author profile for the stories)... the author also has some stories that are parts of series, so the cumulative word count would be pretty high. That said, none of her works near approach 300,000 words; although there are a lot that are 30,000 words & more. :)

mad_maudlin's Heteronormativity, Gender Construction, and Nonverbal Signalling in Intercultural Communication: A Comedy (http://archiveofourown.org/works/56442) is awesome and my favorite Mensa-verse version of this pairing. ~35,200 words, John/Teyla and other pairings.

Sarah T./harriet_spy wrote several, though not necessarily longer. Diplomatic Immunity (http://www.aliencorn.net/stories/diplomatic.html) (~4500 words and untitled sequel ficlet (http://harriet-spy.livejournal.com/669785.html), ~2100 words) is a well done really creepy AU version.

And if you want a good but (warning!) very sad one that includes this pairing, try Hth's Breathe You Deep (http://web.archive.org/web/20080411234529/http://hth.gatefiction.com/breatheyoudeep.htm), ~17,500 words of nipped-in-the-bud John/Teyla and pretty much ditto Ronon/Rodney (Breathe You Deep can be read as a sequel to the Ronon/Rodney story The Miracle Worker (http://web.archive.org/web/20080302215154/http://hth.gatefiction.com/miracleworker.htm), ~2700 words)
