McKay's Last Gestures

Are there any fics where like in the episode 'Tao of Rodney' McKay does all he can to help Atlantis/his team/anybody before he (slowly) dies.

I don't want actual death fic - it could be that he thinks he's dying or is cured at the last minute or even brought back to life. The important thing to note is that in the episode - he doesn't really make a fuss. He's dying so he wants to do as much as he can.

I'd prefer if the story was Gen or maybe even McShep.
