John backstory

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some fic that includes a backstory for John. Ship doesn't matter, slash, het, gen, it's all good :). Though, I'm not too crazy about Shep/Weir. Thanks!

I think Background Noise (http://pamelasite.net/bn.html) by misspamela might have what you're looking for, especially John's Story (although you really should read Rodney's and Theirs as well; together they make an excellent whole).
