Not sure how to describe this - Gen, Gay!Sheppard

This post is inspired by a conversation with a friend a couple months ago and I finally had the nerve to post here to ask.

I'm hoping someone knows of any fics with good, solid, action but Sheppard is gay (either 'out' or still in the closet due to DADT) and his team knows about it.

I don't know if you'd still call the stories Gen or not, but I know that I'm not specifically looking for Slash. The fact that Sheppard is gay doesn't have to be a plot point and it would be a plus if his sexuality is just considered another aspect of who he is and that he's pretty kickass.

(I'm not sure if I got all the tags right on this because of the type of request it is. I hope I got all of the ones that apply.)

No I hadn't. I've been going through the tags here for months too and hadn't seen that one. I don't know how I could have missed it. *facepalm*

Not sure this fits, and it's pretty widely read, but just in case, Ordinary Life (http://www.trickster.org/speranza/cesper/ordinarylife.html) by Cesperanza and Shalott is John/Rodney slash with a focus on the relationship, but it has a big action sequence and John feels conflicted about being perceived as gay after a long time closeted.
