McShep AU, John POV

I've read a number of McShep AUs from Rodney's POV where supporting characters who *haven't* met Rodney (yet) know that John likes him. For instance, Cloud Nine, by almostnever or Be My Yoko One, by kashmir1 -- the kind of story where the first time Rodney meets AU!Ronon or AU!Teyla, they go, "Oh, so you're *Rodney*" -- and you know John has been talking about him to them.

Anyway! The kind of story I'm looking for would be from AU!John's POV, where he meets AU!Zelenka/Cadman/whoever and they already have heard of *him*.

There's a bit like that in The Tragic Woobie Widower, where Rodney's got John's picture on his desk... but they're already involved by that point. (Rodney didn't have a clue what the husband's name was, John guessed, and wondered how many times they'd already met. But he got distracted from the husband's lack of name by Miko's enthusiastic, "He is very handsome, Dr. McKay! Just as his pictures show.")
