Crossovers and kid!fics
Nov. 7th, 2010 07:14 pmLooking for stories with following themes:
1) SGA/Avatar crossovers. While I am not Avatar obsessed like some people I think it's good crossover material and I find it surprising that there aren't more stories out there. I've read The rise of the Navi (which is more of a general Stargate crossover) and A visit to Pandora, but that's about it.
2) Stories where Rodney somehow ends up taking care of infant/toddler and is surprisingly good at it (maybe he had taken care of Maddison once?). Don't care if it's a part of larger fic, mpreg, the kid is not his or someone just stuck him with baby-sitting. Anything will do. Bonus points for McShep.

pretty links
Date: 2010-11-09 09:43 am (UTC)To make the pretty fic names,
[a href=paste address here]type title here[/a]
but with <<<>>> instead of []. (You only need one of the pointy brackets at either end.)
Maybe Baby
If you want to go for broke and hypertext an LJ username,
[lj user= namehere]
Same <<<>>> deal, same <<<>>> channel. :)
I pasted the instructions to a post in my journal (and cut-and-pasted from there to entries as needed) 'til I could remember them. And I always always preview to make sure it works. (Until, in my confidence, I don't. And it's screwed up, of course, so I relearn my lesson and go back to previewing everything. )
Good luck!
Re: pretty links
Date: 2010-11-10 08:50 am (UTC)It's no problem at all. I'd've never figured it out if some kind soul hasn't passed the info along. I'm just doing my part to send the knowledge further.
(and anyone who is contributing links is already one of the cool kids.)
