I recently read all of the stories recommended to margarks when she/he asked for post-trinity fics (gen). Now I'm looking for McShep Post-Trinity fics. I like stories long and angsty.

I've read All I Have are Secrets and Broken Trust, both are lovely angsty, isolated Rodney - which I absolutely adore - and grovelling Sheppard at the end - ditto - but I'm not finding much else like it but some short pieces. I just adored Of Duty, Atonement, and Redemption. It was just about perfect except there was no slash and after 20-something long chapters, it wrapped too quickly. Sigh!!! (I just wanted one kiss. Just one! ok, and maybe a little hand wandering. I would have been happy.) I know I can't be the only person who watched Trinity and then Inferno and went, 'That's it?'

Please, help a sister out! Thank you kindly!

Another good, angsty and long fic that has a fair part devoted to the events around and after Trinity is Tira Nog's Resilience (http://tiranog.southroad.com/SGA/Resilience.htm) (cover art (http://tiranog.southroad.com/cover_resilience.htm)). Summary: Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and Dr. Rodney McKay's relationship takes an unexpected turn after the Meet and Greet party for Atlantis' new staff. Picks up right after Intruder.

i reccomend a couple:

basically, rodney is ignored, and mocked and distrusted but its not until something really terrible happens to him on a mission that it all comes to a head. very angsty and what happens to him makes me cry.

2) Three Fates by auburnanderetria (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=5861)

this is not really a post-trinity fic as much a post-trinity AU but it is so good you cant stop reading until the end. what if the events on doranda had gone differently.

oh but for all your post-trinity needs you really cannot go past iibnf's meta on the the post-trinity phenomenon (http://iibnf.livejournal.com/1328223.html). she describes all the classic post-trinity tropes and has a pretty up-to-date list of all post-trinity stories. you need to check it out.
