Are there any fics where Rodney sees some untapped potential in one of his scientists, or possibly a soldier, or a Daedalus crew member and decides to supervise them personally or at least help them along somehow ?
Or he meets a bright young talent on earth and helps them out as much as he can?
2. Protective Rodney
I'm looking for stories where Rodney intervenes when one of his staff is bullied or sexually harassed or even just discredited by a jealous colleague. Or possibly where he notices a marine in trouble and points it out to Sheppard.
