Looking for McShep fics...

Hello All,

I am looking for two specific types of McShep fics..

1) I am in the mood for fics that have a protective!possessive!alpha-male!John were Rodney gets hurt, people are treating him badly, someone else is with/wants to be with Rodney and moving in on John's "territory", etc.

2) Any McShep fics that deal with Rodney's insecurity about his body and John being attracted to Rodney's extra padding.

I prefer NC-17 or R ratings, but will take whatever you have to rec!

Ah, another Keira!fan. *smiles* I love anything and everything written by Keira Marcos. WMHB is one of the first fics i read in the SGA fandom and i am still in awe of it. As for the other fic, looks like it's just what i am looking for! Thanks for reccing them;-)

I don't think there is anyone in the fandom who hasn't heard of Keira or Xanthe. They are both well known and respected authors who write kick ass stories where John is a badass, possessive bastard. xD

It is a very excellent story, and it pulls at my heartstrings every time I read it.

I know aren't they awesome! I am just amazed at the level of writing they both are at and HOW MUCH they actually post! I mean Keira spoiled me, made me think that all fanfic writers should be posting a couple novellas a month, LOL! Whenever i need a really dominant!protective!possessive!John and a snarky!brillant!bottom!Rodney I go and read one of their stories;-)

Oh I know! They've spoiled me for the rest of the fandom. There are certain things that squick me, but when they write it (because they write realistically and treat them as real issues) I can acutally read them.

xD Yeah. I've only recently started read WMHB because I tried it before and didn't like it. I hated stories where Rodney or John wasn't on the original expedition, but now that I've tried it again (due to my squeeing and flailing sister) I really enjoy it. Who would have thought!

I think that is what makes them such amazing writers, they keep the characters and events very relatable and completely real.

As for WMHB, I know the feeling, it feels really wrong that Rodney hadn't gone on the original expedition in any universe, but it can bring about some interesting stories and ideas from the severe lack of the awesomeness known as Dr. M. Rodney McKay!! Case in point, WMHB... it's interesting to think about how the Atlantis Expedition who have gone, had Rodney never went. He and John saved the day about 99% of the time afterall. ;p
