Revealing Moments...
Jul. 23rd, 2010 12:25 amI just finished reading
1) I'm looking for stories where one of the characters, under the influence of alcohol or drugs (could be Earth or Pegasus variety, not picky there), either says something they normally wouldn't or is less inhibited in actions.
2) Clothing "malfunctions" -- wherein one of the characters loses their clothing or must wear clothing other than what they normally would in the course of initiating or continuing alliances between Atlantis & other Pegasus cultures.
While I enjoy reading McShep pairing, I'm not particular on what the pairings, if any, are with regards to this search; however, please label pairings where applicable.
Thanks in advance!

Date: 2010-07-26 07:28 am (UTC)I did like it!! Also... You're very welcome! I like to give examples of the stories inspiring my searches if possible - especially seeing as how the stories I read usually drive my searches. LOL! As a matter of fact, you definitely need to check out "Hot Potato" (http://www.eternalvox.net/auburn/hotpotato.html) by Auburn (

And in response to your responses up- and down-thread, I really like it that you usually give one or more examples of what inspired your search -- can help narrow recs down, (sometimes) stops me from (oops) reccing the exact story that inspired your search, and if I hadn't read it before (or for a while) offers a reading treat! :)

Re: giving examples of search inspirations.... There's actually a couple of reasons for giving examples for my searches - other than the obvious - and the first & foremost is that I liked them & want to make sure that others will find them to enjoy as well, which may well inspire the authors to write more, and then also as a strategy to maybe inspire some newer suggestions from the usual - or at least find some of the older gems that may not have been mentioned much if at all. ...because this community is extremely rich in resources & willingness to share - not to mention putting forth a lot of effort in hunting down the possibilities.
