John finds love post series

Rodney and Keller, Ronon and Amelia, Teyla and Kanaan... this leaves John the only one alone.

I am looking for stories in which John finds love outside the team after the end of the series. It may be with some other member of the expedition (e.g. Lorne), an OC or a crossover character.

I can't think of any specific stories, but have you tried looking at Crossroad's (http://sga.fictionresource.com/) selection of Sheppard/Lorne and Sheppard/Mitchell stories. I'd be very surprised if you couldn't find something there.

Busaikko's Sheppard/Parrish stories definitely fit (http://community.livejournal.com/non_mcsmooch/tag/sheppard/parrish).

busaikko's recent Imaginary Boys (http://busaikko.livejournal.com/148929.html) fits that pretty well, MtF Sheppard starts a relationship with Cameron Mitchell before he transitions, during the series timeline, they break up and then they meet again post-canon. It's very good, plus nice Sheppard and Rodney friendship moments, a funny Lorne and more.

Okaaay, I had this in a tab to reply to and all of a sudden this reads like all about me! and I am embarrassed....

There are three main S5 and later 'ships:
1. Sheppard/Mitchell: Crossroads - tagged for S5 and Crossroads - tagged for timeline:post-series.

2. Sheppard/Woolsey: I like to think I wrote the first story, but this is a big rare pair now! 14 stories on Crossroads! *throws confetti*

3. Sheppard/other (Parrish (Crossroads has all the ones I know), Mike the Marine (Throwing out your frown and just smiling at the sound by less_star, Todd (you'll need to filter this by post-series, and so on: check the Crossroads rare pairs list!).

sabinelagrande has written at least one quite fun Sheppard/Woolsey fic, and I think she's done other Sheppard/other fics as well. auburnnothenna wrote one recently in which John met and moved in with an OMC post-series, though that story ultimately ended up McShep.
