McShep AU specific kid!fic

Hi, I posted this over at sgastoryfinders but with no luck. I am looking for one fiction but I figure I would enjoy more of the same thing.

The fiction type I am looking for is not Small Primes and Square Roots by liviapenn  which everyone thinks it is, although that fits in the sub-category!

What I am looking for is fiction - mostly set in AU - in which Rodney and John get together or are together and one or the other (or both) have kids and one of them goes off, e.g. John leaves because he is still in the US Air force and has to work or whatever.

How long do they have to go away for? In my series War Stories they have adopted two children, who are left in the care of Family Services when the Ori attack, and in John's care when Rodney (Canadian AF) is conducting war games. But both separations are short-term.

The latter parts of Pru's Bellcurve series has the guys ending up with two kids, and there are times when John has to go off to work, leaving Rodney to look after the kids. You can find them here (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/index.php#sga).
