Fluff Fluff and more Fluff. That's what I am in need of. Specifically of the 'destined to be together' variety.

What I am looking for are fics where John and Rodney are both aware that they will be together forever. They may not talk about it, they aren't together yet, but they both know that the other is 'it' for them. Keira Marcos' fic "Secrets" is an amazing example of this kind of story and anything similar is exactly what I'm looking for. http://keiramarcos.com/2008/12/03/secret s-by-keira-marcos/

I think I can rustle up a few of those...

In On the Brink (http://simonesimone.livejournal.com/1523.html) by simonesimone, John and Rodney are clearly in love but it's the concept rather than the reality that's present. A pair of disasters- John in a coma, Rodney stabbed - causes John to realize that he cannot continue sleepwalking through life.

Heat (http://01100100.fanfib.org/fanfiction/sga/five/au4/au4.html) has that lovely don't-I-know-you-from-somewhere? vibe that is present in my favorite AUs. John is an aeroplane pilot and Rodney is stuck in Peru. Luckily they only get into so much trouble as they can get out of.

Catalyst (http://the-cephalopod.livejournal.com/14474.html) by the_cephalopod has a sweet little fic about John becoming infected with an alien fungus that makes him crave touch. No, really, it's pretty darned good. One of its best aspects is that it shows J/R becoming closer *before* the alien bug comes along, so that the fungus is more the last straw than the actual impetus - it makes the J/R romance seem inevitable.

There are a lot more like that. Just flipping through my 'SGA' 'John/Rodney' and 'romance' tags at the same time is coming up with a meant-to-be theme for every third or fourth fic. But if you like On the Brink (recced by kirinin above), simonesimone's A Thing for Blondes and Butterflies (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/345325.html) might also work for you - in it Rodney has known for a while and John's been pretending he hasn't, but it ends happily.
