It's a common enough SF trope and I was wondering if anyone knew of any SGA fics in which people end up in one another's bodies. Gen slash or het, I'm good with all of it.

There's also a fic at [livejournal.com profile] sga_bigbang that I've yet to read, but from the covers/excerpts/summaries I gather that it has Rodney's body turning into John's (body, that is), due to something ATA gene related... Um, I think. Anyways, the reviews I saw were all good, so it should be safe to read. ;-)

Mirror Dance (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=13) by [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone (hope I got the right one... I'm having a bad URL day, sigh)

There's also a fairly new one, which's totally awesome as well, and should definitely be read:

four boots, five thousand two hundred and eighty feet (http://kormantic.livejournal.com/176435.html) by [livejournal.com profile] kormantic, McShep, NC-17

There's no new stories that haven't been recced here at Crossroads, but you could try ultimateficarchiver's [SGA+bodyswap] del.icio.us list (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/bodyswap+sga). Which actually reminded me of another one I forgot to mention:

The Old Switcheroo (http://scribblinlenore.livejournal.com/361798.html) by [livejournal.com profile] scribblinlenore, McShep, NC-17, hilarity!

Funny! I just recc'd one on Stargateficrec:

Rec Category: McKay/Sheppard
Pairing: Rodney McKay/John Sheppard
Category: aliens made them do it, first time, humor, light angst, romance
Warning: None
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] kormantic
Author's Website: The Ska Lab (http://www.kormantic.com)
Link: four boots, five thousand two hundred and eighty feet (http://kormantic.livejournal.com/176435.html)

Why This Must Be Read: While the title does give me an earworm from 'Rent', it's also wordplay taken from the saying: 'you can't really know someone until you walk a mile in their shoes.' The story is full of that type of playfulness, and it zips along, from the opening scene through the moment of realization that John and Rodney have accidentally swapped bodies, right up through the story's resolution. It's clever and fun, and well worth the read.
