Im in the mood for Atlantis /Earth Conflict

Hello All. I'm looking for stories where there is major conflict of any kind which causes Earth to hold members of the Atlantis expedition against their will. But specifically, I want a story/stories where they are rescued or broken out of their incarceration by way of threat, blackmail or jailbreak. Jailbreak would be preferred, kind of like when Rodney and team stole the Puddlejumper to go back to Atlantis to save Jack and Woolsey. I also love it when Earth is being all smug ("We've got them over a barrel") and getting smacked down. No pairing preferences,bring it all on. Thank You for any and all suggestions.

This made me laugh because I just today finished writing something in which Atlantis re-establish contact with Earth and there is conflict when John and Elizabeth are detained. It's McShep and I don't know how you feel about self-recs but hey, I just finished it today so I thought I'd toss it in here.

I don't mind people promoting their own work. Thats what its all about, getting your ideas to others that can appreciate them. Thanks for the link, Ill give it a read.

I also read something recently but didn't bookmark it. Maybe somebody else will remember it. In it Rodney is on vacation with Jennifer and John is held and tortured by the IOA?/US? because he won't let them use his gene to turn Atlantis into a bomb. Rodney rescues him and they hide out on a boat before escaping through the wormhole to Pegasus. Mcshep and they don't get to keep Atlantis but it might suit your request.
