Forced to take care of it on his own

I"m looking for stories in which Rodney dislocated/broke something or got cut/shot and...Here's the catch: Had to take care of it on his own. Most stories I've read were ones where John or somebody else took care/bandaged of it. But I'd love to see some fics where Rodney does it on his own.
Some extra stuff you guys would make me extremely happy with:
- McShep
- Comforting (by John)
- I've only read stories where he dislocated his shoulder. I definitely don't mind those but stories where he dislocates something else (like his finger(s) ) would be an extre special bonus!
