"Let me 'splain... No... Let me sum up.": Holidays / Traditions

I'm looking for stories where the Atlantis Expedition explains whichever Holiday or Tradition to a Pegasus Native and the explanations go awry.


For example, in "Ronon's First Christmas" by greyias  (Part 1, Part 2, & Part 3), John & Rodney attempt to explain the Christmas Holiday to Ronon, and Ronon's understanding, coming from his own experiences, are much different than what John & Rodney are trying to convey. (This is a WIP gen!fic.)

Or in "A Satedan Valentine" by Coreen Fennel (John/Teyla & Ronon/Keller), Ronon tries asking about Valentine's Day to various members of the Atlantis Expedition & finally pins John down for an explanation, the results of which are shown in the story. 


Or even vice versa - where whichever Pegasus Native (could be Teyla, Ronon, or others) tries to explain their Holidays or Traditions to those of the Atlantis Expedition, and those explanations go awry - could involve humor or whump because I don't doubt that there could be insult perceived on the part of the Pegasus Natives.

I'm not on the lookout for any pairings in this request, but any & all are acceptable - just mention them where applicable.

This might be a bit of a stretch but Teyla invites John to be part of an Athosian tradition and John,on truth serum, says what he really thinks. Only a small part of the story though, but very funny.
