ancient meddling?

Hi, there,

I was wondering if there are any stories in which the Doranda fiasco turns out to be the fault of the Ancients.
A few friends and I watched a few choice episodes of SGA yesterday, one of which was Trinity, and it got me thinking: Rodney was very sure that he'd made no mistakes. What if, for whatever reason, the Ancients had meddled and made it look like Rodney had failed? Since they are noncorporal entities, nobody would be able to tell if they meddled, right? After all, they do it whenever they themselves feel threatened, never mind their own directive.

So, are there any stories like that? (Mcshep is preferred, but gen would be alright too.)

There's speculation that the Ancient Merlin/Myrddin sabotaged Arcturus in A Requiem for Leo Szilard (http://valderys.livejournal.com/14150.html) by valderys. That one's a remix of gaiaanarchy's A Sonnet for Robert Oppenheimer (http://gaiaanarchy.livejournal.com/14294.html) (maybe makes more sense to read this one first), in which Project Arcturus works, except for some sabotage by... (but that would be telling).

Not pertaining Arcturus, but Chosen (http://mirabile-dictu.slashcity.net/SGA/Chosen.html) has the Ancients interfering with John's life.
