For some reason I've been wanting to read some Sheppard angst fics. Any angst.

Are there any recommendations you guys can give me?

I've just finished reading Aegis (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=16) by Springwoof and Leah (leahwoof); it's lovely, angsty, kind of a fantasy-ish AU in which humans with the ATA gene have special powers, and John hasn't had the best of luck dealing with his own "Charmer" gift. McShep, NC-17, must be read. :-)

For brand-new right-off-the-press angst you could keep an eye on mcshep_match (hope that's right); I think they're posting a new angst and a new romance story every day now, or something like that. They're all McShep, of course, and I haven't had the time to catch up with them, but worth a shot, I think.

I'm not into McShep relationship at all, but I do appreciate your effort. As you can see, there have been no other entries to my request.

Any answer is very kind and more than generous.

Maybe you could make your request more detailed, at least in the basics? Add your preference (gen, het or slash), favorite pairing, that kind of thing.

I think there're simply too many angst stories with John; giving folks a few pointers would make them more likely to respond. Me, I like McShep (it does have the awesomest fics!), but at heart I yearn for other (slash) Rodney-pairings. So the fics I know would most probably all be slash, and possibly McShep, so ultimately not what you're after. Ergo, go forth and edit your post! :-D

You could try Demons (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3524672/1/Demons) by SGAFan, which, despite being on ::Shudder:: ff.net, is good. Also, kodiak_bear's It's Always Autumn in the Old Trees of Despair (http://kodiak-bear.livejournal.com/53597.html) which is an awesome fic and has a lot of John angst. Those are the two best gen ones I can think of off the top of my head. But yeah, it'd help to say what specific kind of fic you're looking for, I might come up with some more. I like angst ^^

I've read "Autumn" by Kodiak and love all her fics. I have to look up "Demons". It sounds familiar...

I think debris_k is right. I need to be more specific in my request.... so I will.
