Rodney hurt, John taking care of him

sgarecfindersI'm craving some serious McShep h/c and my laptop (with all my bookmarks) is unavailable.
I want more hurt than comfort at the moment; it's not the day for fluff. The best recent example I can think of is Cold Toes by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
saffronhouse which has John accompanying Rodney to visit his seriously crazy mother, getting a clue into Rodney's childhood, while Rodney also has broken bones etc from a mission gone bad. At the end you think 'Oh my God, at least he has John to help him through it and keep him from wanting to kill himself..." because the implications of his childhood history are so chilling.
*That* -- more please, would be so much appreciated right now.
