Hi :)
I'm not quite sure how to describe what I'm looking for, but I'm wanting mcshep fic where John is sort of protective but kind of hard too. The kind of John like in 'How The Millers Relaxed And Learned To Love Rodney (With A Little Help From John Sheppard)' by Sardonicsmiley
Where he's sort of gentle and friendly to Rodney but very much a military commander to everyone else . I know there are a few fics with him like this that I've read but the one above is the only one I could find in my bookmarks. Sorry if its a bit vague I'm just not sure quite how to describe this kind of John. NOT looking for dark fics though
Any suggestions would be great,Thanks

Have you read What Might Have Been by keiramarcos? It's an AU where McKay didn't go to Atlantis, and didn't meet John until what's left of the expedition returns. John is Jack's 2IC in the mountain, and very seriously kick ass. It's epic and wonderful and one of my very favourite addictions.

If you really want ferocious!John, you might try Crimes Against Humanity by seperis. Atlantis is an inescapable prison colony for the worst criminals in two galaxies... inescapable until John and Rodney are thrown together in one cell. This is a very skewed and scary version of the Atlantis characters we know and love. It's shocking and absolutely fascinating.

wow 3 recs, I am so lucky :D thanks, Ive read what-might-have-been, though thanks for suggesting it since I didn't think of it and it is incredible, I swear it has everything!
