Looking for specific tags to "Brainstormed"

Remember those scientist that mocked Rodney in Brainstormed? Im looking for Fics where Atlantis has been declassified, or in some way, those scientists find out he has been in another galaxy fighting bad guys and making huge scientific discoveries. Im not as interested in the declassified as I am in Rodney finally recieving credit for his accomplishments from the characters in Brainstormed.

If you don't mind McShep slash, there's "Brainstormed" (http://www.trickster.org/kass/brainstormed.html) by Kass Rachel & Sihaya Black; although, there's not so much declassification as there is that a few of his colleagues are forced to acknowledge Rodney's genius, which they then turn around and act like it never happened.

And if you want to take a bit further, there's a short fic that was inspired by the above-linked one called "Professional Jealousy" (http://bironic.nostatement.com/professional_jealousy.htm) by bironic - also McShep slash.... which actually has a remix of it called "Professional Jealousy (The Special Delivery Remix)" (http://community.livejournal.com/remixredux09/5977.html) by tex - also McShep slash, eventually.

There's also "The Pleasure of your Company" (http://deltacephei.livejournal.com/22142.html) by deltacephei - another McShep slash, it's along the same lines as Kass Rachel's & Sahiya Black's "Brainstormed" and not much on the professional acknowledgment of Rodney's genius.


I've seen "We've Taken Different Roads" -- http://keiramarcos.com/2008/06/09/weve-taken-different-roads/ -- by keiramarcos recc'd a couple of times, but haven't read it as yet, so I can't tell you for sure whether it would fit your requirements, also I think it might be McShep slash.

I don't think We've Taken Different Roads quite fits the request (though it is omg so very awesome and I think everyone should read it! *g*). WTDR doesn't feature the Brainstormed scientists, but it does feature a declassified Stargate and Rodney generally being awesome with other scientists/people recognising/seeing this. And it is very definitely John/Rodney. *g*

Ah HA! Thank you for the clarification on that. I've got it in my TBR folder, and I had it in there as an ep.-tag for Brain Storm, but nothing on the pairing. It was one of those 'quick, bookmark before the confuser crashes & everything is lost!' deals. LOL!

... I thought of this search upon reading the below-referenced story. There is no declassification & the scientist in question is not aware that Rodney is working in another galaxy, but is aware that Rodney has pull with the government & the military - not to mention their respect. It is a Brain Storm tag from Dr. Tunney's POV -- mostly Gen!Fic but has the canon pairing for the episode of Keller/McKay.
