Does anyone know of a fic with Rodney/OMC which is more than just a 'omg I'm totally down with the gay, now get me some filthy, filthy John!love'?

I'm looking for a long-term fic with someone other than the team.  An original character would be best, but I'll take anything.

"Becoming Connor Davids" by race_the_ace has what you're looking for, but it does take a while for it to happen. Rodney starts off with Katie and they eventually break up and he dates an OMC. It's also a REALLY long fic. The beginning starts out a little choppy as it's the author's first fic, but the writing improves over time. I think the Rodney/OMC starts somewhere in the chapter 20s.
