I find myself craving fics where Sheppard is showing he has a scary side. I would love anything in which John proves himself a dangerous and ruthless soldier. I have a very strong preference for McShep (possessive!John is always wonderful as well!) but Gen is great too. AU's are also welcome.

Yup, I hope that you enjoy it! ^_^ There is also a sequel where that John and Rodney get sucked into the canon verse. I haven't read it yet, but I have heard good things about it.

I would start with the General and Dr. Sheppard first even though Coming Home is technically the prequel. I didn't like the AU characters until they were introduced in the General and Dr. Sheppard. I love Xanthe's stuff though.
