Not sure if this is exactly the sort of thing you want, but it came to mind when I saw your query: In Wit's End (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_genficathon/33269.html) by greyias, Rodney lets his snark flag fly against the bad guy and against John. Gen; violence and occasional dark themes (but also hugely funny).
