1.  Radek becoming Rodney's 2IC
Are there any stories which show the beginnings of Rodney and Radek's friendship? Or when Rodney realised that Radek was really smart? In the episode 38 minutes, it kinda seems like Kavanagh is meant to be scientific 2IC. When did it change?  And how did it become official, like Elisabeth formally accepting it?
If there's no stories like that, can you recc me good Rodney/Radek friendship stories?

2. Unforgiving Atlanteans taking revenge
I've read so many stories where the team or just Rodney gets captured and tortured and eventually rescued, and that's always the end of the story. I'd like to read stories where the kidnappers get punished, where the rest of the galaxy realises there are actual consequences if you mess with the Atlanteans.
Sorry if I sound a little blood-thirsty, I'm not looking for dark fics, where John goes on an insane killing spree, just some where they're not afraid to retaliate.

For #2 Situation Normal, All Fucked Up. It is a little dark but not explicit. Sheppard is captured and the bad guys are threatening bad stuff. McKay does not like this. Lorne's POV.

Oh wow, I adored this story, even though Rodney's quite frightening. But it was great to see the flashbacks to earlier revenge too.

That was great, although since Shappard wasn't actually hurt, it feels like Rodney's revenge was a liitle over the top, doesn't it?

I don't think so. He went with what he knew. Sheppard was kidnapped, the bad guys sent bad stuff to reinforce their demands, you go with what you know. When the dust settles McKay has to live with it but he was backed into a corner. Hard to attach a morality to this which is one of the reasons that this author was so good.
