Any good OC-pairings?

I just read Victoria Custer's magnificient Hunting Parties-series, and now i have a craving for more OC:s. Preferably paired up with a major canon character, slash or het equally welcome, pre-pairing to explicit, as long as the OC plays a major part in the story.
Oh, and if the ending is unhappy, I prefer to know beforehand, please warn me.

Does it have to be a pairing? kodiak_bear's The Last Survivor has my all time favorite OC. It's a gen with Sheppard, McKay and the OC.

Rodney marries an OFC in East of the Sun, West of the Moon by dossier (http://www.zonezine.net/~dossier/html/eastwest/ew.htm). It's not the main focus of the story, but it's a nice pairing.

In Astonishing Persistence Of Memory: Past Time by tielan (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=48), Sheppard gets amnesia and a girlfriend. Another nice couple - I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

Few stories can compare with Hunting Parties though, no offense to every author in the SGA universe.

If you read WIP(or what seems like it but have a pretty regular updates and it's 31 chaps now with 200k words, published: 04 Mar 2009-- according to wraithbaith) you might wanna try Becoming Connor Davids by race_the_ace [R] (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=14777&textsize=0&chapter=1) - It's about this new guy Davids and his blooming relationship with The Colonel...I've only read to chap 8 cause I'm such a deeply ingrained mcshep fan that I was pretty convinced that the OC was a steve sue(even Mckay likes him last I read)... but it has a decent writing and somewhat okay storyline... you should try it... I'd continue reading it if it was mcshep but it's not and that's the only reason I didn't...
