John fathers children in Pegasus

I've just watched the tower and despite a) personally believing that any mentioning of marriage might have put a considerable damper on Johns - *uh* - let's call it "desire to perform" and b) John declaring in the end that he turned Mara down, are there any stories out there where Mara actually got pregnant and John finds out way later? I mean, a) my personal belief says nothing about what actually happened and b) (if we stretch our imagination a bit) could be John downright lying or obfuscating what actually happened ("as long as it's not *real* penetration, it isn't *real* sex, right? Right?" *whistles*) or even John talking about turning down the offer of marriage, concealing the fact that he actually *did* "get the girl".

And while I'm on it, every story where John finds out he has fathered a child with a woman from the Pegasus-Galaxy is welcome, as long as it's either gen, McShep or ends up McShep.

It's angst, het (McKay/Cadman), with eventual happyish ending (McKay/Sheppard). Very good. Might not be quite what you're looking for, though, as John is, sadly, not actually intimately involved in their conception.

Actually, I'm more interested in his and other people's reaction to finding out he has children he didn't know about than the process of "making them". *g*

So, thank you for reccing this story, I'll surely check it out since it sounds quite interesting.

Oops, sorry, yes, that's ME who's "interested" in the process of John making babies. ;) But yes, John does find out later on in the story, and there is reacting... happening... going on.

It's very haunting and sad, but John turns out to be the most wonderful protective daddy. I had tears throughout though so beware. (oh..and a bit dark in places.)
