Losing faith

I'm looking for stories where Rodney loses faith in the people around him. There are so many where people stop trusting/believing in/wanting to be around Rodney and I'm looking for the opposite.

It could be individuals, the team or everyone on Atlantis but I'd prefer it to be because of something they do, not because of how they react to something Rodney did (I love post-trinity stories but I honestly think I've read just about all of them).

The only one I think of immediately is Shock (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/192310.html) by frostfire_17 (McShep preslash, kinda), but since that's set fairly soon after "Trinity" you may have read it already ....

Hmmm. Good question.

I vaguely recall a few that has Rodney distrustful of Elizabeth's management style, sometimes even forcing her to 'abdicate'. There's been a few where he no longer trusts John to choose the safe option, only the suicidal one. There are one or two where both he AND John distrust Elizabeth/Sam/Woolsey and/or SGC/IOA.

There was one where his inherent distrust of physicians causes his friendship to break with Carson because of some kind of breach of confidentiality.

UNfortunately, I'm at work and cannot pull these out for you at this time. I will think on it some more.

There's the one where rodney feels unappreciated when he saves the ship on the volcano planet and no one (john) even says thanks, so he decides to leave atlantis, but my favourite would be mithreons 'sandstorms' which is an epic rodney whumping sort-of-post-trinity fic, which you've probably read.
