As lavvyan has very curtly suggested I try this again in a far more general approach, I hope this works and doesn’t piss off to many people this time.

I was just wondering if there were any stories that had the soldiers of Atlantis siding with, or loyal to McKay; to the point where they are defending him to, or trying to convince Sheppard of his worth.

I have looked at the copious tags and communities, but nothing jumped out as being the kind of story I was hoping for.   Any ideas would be great, Thanks.

Hmm. This one's close-ish in a roundabout way...it does have a marine defending Rodney off screen. At any rate, it also has Rodney being awesome and it's by Sardonicsmiley so it's a good story on it's own. Here (http://smiley.zonezine.net/html/32426.html) I believe it's also McShep.
