[identity profile] chris-king-2005.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] sgarecfinders
Hi there:-)

As a new but avid fan of all things McShep, I've been watching this community for a while. I've read tons of great fic, thanks to *ahem* more than a few hours spent gleefully chasing tags through the archives. So yeah, thanks for being here, even if you're all shameless enablers for my

One of my absolutely favourite forms of this addiction is the What Might Have Been verse. Other favourites 'verses are the Farm in Iowa series, the Nantucket AU,
the Checkmate series, Ernie the Fuzzy Octopus, the Clubhouse verse and the Caden verse.

One of the things I like best about my little McShep addiction is the sheer wealth of material to wallow in. My favourite authors and tales are far from limited to the small list above. I was even motivated to start tracking my favourites on Delicious, which for a geriatric Luddite like me is a manifestation of true devotion. But there's so much out there!

Point me in the right direction. I've been chasing rec lists and tags, so I've read alot, but who knows what gems have eluded my exceedingly rudimentary technical abilities.

Slash only, please, with a strong McShep, out and angst free men who are gay and comfortable with the whole idea. Whatever angst there may be in the tale, it's not because the characters are gay, or find themselves in love with another man. (Although I must admit, Rodney's bemused and joyful astonishment in the Iowa 'verse just tickles me pink. And don't even get me started on [livejournal.com profile] keiramarcos' Sentinel's of Atlantis and WMHB.)

Suggestions?

Thanks!

EDIT: Okay, remember that part where I totally owned the fact that I'm a geriatric Luddite?

I've flailed around with the tags without much success, so my apologies. Perhaps the moderators or someone with sufficient technowizgeekery would be kind enough to add established relationship to the tag list.

Update! Oh, lots of yummy recs, rec lists and links to archives in the comments. Thanks, everyone!
