This is an embarrassing request, but here we go:

I am having a particularly bad day (week...month...year...) and I would really, really love some shamelessly indulgent fluff. Shmoop. Romance. The cotton candy of fanfic. I'm looking for the fic that gave you a warm feeling in your tummy or made your heart flutter. The fic that made you exclaim: "awwww!" even though you were in a crowded library.

Limits:

1) Slash only, please. Preferably John/Rodney. I also am partial to: Lorne/Parrish, Teyla/Heightmeyer, and Teyla/Keller. I'll read other pairings if you really, really recommend them, but those are my favorites.

2) Zero angst! I don't care if there's a happy ending. Other times, I like a good h/c, but right now, I just want the fluff.

3) No AUs, please.

Other than that, go crazy.

Thank you all so much!

Here are some of my favorite feel-good fics ... hope they met what you are looking for!

Big Bang (http://community.livejournal.com/mcsmooch/41648.html#cutid1) by [livejournal.com profile] tolf_froggy -- McShep -- Short and breathtaking ...

Bang (http://www.glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/bang.php) by Rageprufrock -- McShep -- Not conventional fluff, but a hilarious fic about John's inability to adjust to Earth. Lucky for him, Rodney is there to "help".

Enjambment (http://thingswithwings.livejournal.com/10514.html) by [livejournal.com profile] thingswithwings -- McShep -- Short and so very cute! The boys really don't get any more adorable than this!

We Don't Have The Time For Psychological Romance (http://glitterdash.livejournal.com/1602.html) by [livejournal.com profile] glitterdash -- McShep -- Rodney gets his Noble Prize *and* John.

This is probably really unhelpful since I don't remember the details, but didn't someone hold a Happy Fic Fest last year in their journal? Sadly, I can't remember who it was but maybe someone else does? *goes to check bookmarks*

Late to the party, but here are two short pieces that always make me really happy:

Not-Favorite Spot (http://sheafrotherdon.livejournal.com/121762.html?thread=5297314), by [livejournal.com profile] franticsga.

and the sequel, Blue Shift (http://franticsga.livejournal.com/7349.html).

I hope things get better soon!!!

They are short but never fail to bring a smile to my face.

This one too always makes me laugh
