Looking for AU fiction

"The Battle of Canaan's Bluff" - http://liketheriverrun.livejournal.com/45701.html , and "Never Wanted to Dance (With Nobody But You)" - http://community.livejournal.com/sga_genficathon/31356.html, both by liketheriver, and "The Pirate's Prisoner" by Eildon Rhymer - http://rhymer23.livejournal.com/35046.html.
Now I'd like to read more like these -- where the Atlantis characters are *not* on Atlantis, but find their way together. Can be historical or present-day. I prefer Gen/Friendship or Het fics. Anyone have some good recommendations? Thank you for any and all recs.
