There's a lovely Carson/John scene as one of the "monthly features" in brainofck's fantastic & hot Circadian Rhythms: A series of 13 drabbles (http://brainofck.livejournal.com/247744.html). It's brief, but the whole fic is brilliant so I don't think you'll mind. ;-)

Warning: the overall fic is McShep, with the Carson/John scene being possible-partner-betrayal, if that's a deal-breaker. I'm not convinced that Rodney doesn't know what's going on, tho'....
