I'm in the mood for some angst.

Could you guys rec me fics where Rodney's the disabled one? I'm looking for McShep fics, and if possible, a happy ending (not necessarily Rodney getting better, but just that the boys are happy). Also, I'd prefer it if uh, if they were fairly well written too :P AU or Canon setting, everything goes.



And in a not-so-angsty note, fics with canon setting where John sees/hears Rodney play the piano and is surprised (in my head, Rodney's never really talked about the whole piano thing on Atlantis, I'm not sure John even knows he used to play). McShep, again.

"The Price that Life Exacts", Cathalin's Big Bang 2008 contribution would fit your second request, I think. Even if John isn't quite "surprised" about Rodney playing the piano but John does react to this in an unusal way.
