Hi y'all, I'm looking for fic where John and Rodney are having a secret relationship, or want to start a relationship, but are advised against it or warned off it by their friends and/or superiors. 

There are lots of really wonderful stories out there where the boys worry about DADT only to discover that everyone around them secretly knew they were and item, or should be an item, and were ok with it.  But I want to know what happens when people either aren't ok with it, or want to warn them off it for their own sakes or just plain do not get it and want it to go away.

Secondly, any stories like the, and/or including situations where someone suggests it's Rodney's fault, or that he's caused/changed John's sexuality.

Can be AU's, gendermash-up, AMTDI...anything really.

Oh, if you haven't read these: The Taste of Apples (http://www.eternalvox.net/%7Eauburn/apples.html) and Sacrificial Drift (http://www.eternalvox.net/~auburn/SacrificialDrift.html) by auburnnothenna.

The Taste of Apples is pre-slash, involving the whole team (Ford, not Ronon). The sequel Sacrificial Drift is where the theme of your request (John/Rodney together only in secret because of the danger) is explored. Both are incredibly good writing.

I'm not sure - I sent Willows Cat a comment on Imeem to see if it could be accessed elsewhere - will let you know what she replies. I guess you could do a search on You Tube - the name of the vid is Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and the vidder is Willows Cat. Sorry you're having problems with Imeem!
