I've wondered from the beginning what exactly is happening when the Wraith feed that leads to the appearance of "aging" in the victim; if we take away the mystical, it has to be some kind of chemical reaction or something like that, and therefore it doesn't seem impossible for someone (like our poor Carson or someone at the SGC) to come up with a cure.  Soooo, are there any fic out there that deal with the discovery of a cure for the effects of Wraith feeding outside of "Wraith Regurgitation," for want of a better term (such as what happened to Sheppard in the show)?

Well, there's Old Soldiers Die Hard (http://friendshipper.livejournal.com/21437.html) by [livejournal.com profile] friendshipper (rated T) which is a 3rd person POV of a nurse working in an old folks' home (or something), and her view of one of the patients there. It's got a happy ending, and a McShep feel - can be read as gen friendship, as the author probably intended. ;-)
