I'd love to read more fic where Rodney gets turned into a kid. Whenever I look for kidfic, I just keep ending up with the guys having offspring. Maybe there's a different name for it?

No, I think you're right that it's called kidfic... I think people just use the term to describe fics centered on kids, whether that kid is one of the main characters transformed or an actual child born/adopted by one of the characters.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of kid!Rodney fic out there. Between the recs and the two you mentions, you've got all the ones I have bookmarked. :(

Hmm. Maybe that means it's time to write one. :)

Oh! Your in luck! sardonicsmiley just posted the most awesome kid!Rodney fic in the history of forever <3. Only warning though is to bring a box of kleenex ;). The link (http://sardonicsmiley.livejournal.com/90539.html) leads you to her lj post.

Family pictures hadn’t been a big part of Rodney’s one photo album. If this is what Rodney looks like stripped of years and armor, John understands why he holds so tightly to his defenses.

I swear, I cannot recommend it highly enough =).

For future reference, I think you're better off searching for "de-aged Rodney (or whatever character)" rather than kid!fic since that usually applies to them actually having kids.
