I've had a look through past requests marked 'animals/pets' and can't see the following request so thought I'd give it a try.

I'm looking for stories where John/Rodney acquire a pet.  It could be Rodney's favourite, a cat, or an octopus (forgot which fic, but it doesn't matter), or a 'not a Tibbles'  (ie Pegasus sort of cat) as in Mrs Hamil's 'The Trouble With Tribbles. (http://www.hawksong.com/~thammill/SGA_Fic/tribbles.htm). ; I'd like the mood to be happy, so no animal death fics please.  I want to laugh or go 'awwww', not cry!

I prefer the backgound to be McShep, but am pretty much happy with pairing or none.

betrayed Rodney/ bullied Rodney

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good Mcshep stories, where Rodney is betrayed or bullied. I also love a good story where Rodney (atlantis universe or not) has to deal with bullying or adversity, originating from his time at the mountain and with SG-1. Protective SGA members that make other see the light of day are an extra kudoos.
