John is the missing link between success and failure?

Inspired by another recent search, I'm looking for stories where the initial expedition fails because John doesn't (or didn't) sign on.  Bonus, of course, if John is part of a second "rescue" effort.

Gen strongly preferred, but if the story is awesome, I'll give it a try.

Wimbledon is upon us

Hi there, I'm looking for any crossovers/fusions/AU's with wimbledon/Tennis in general. Where they go to watch it, or are players, or even find the pegasus version/teach the pegasus natives to play tennis. You get the idea.

I prefer not to read McShep, but if it focuses on the sport, not the pairing I'll take it. Lorne in Tennis whites would be a bonus beyond belief!
