People acting outside team roles / Ronon stepping up

Bit hard to describe this, but both canon and fanon tend to stick the team into very clear roles: McKay is the brain, Teyla's the heart, Ronon's the muscle, etc.
I'd love to see some fiction that breaks free of that, and I would especially love to see stories that have Ronon acting outside his usual range of beating things up, carrying heavy things, and survival knowledge. If it's things he has either retained from Sateda or taken upon himself to learn since he came to Atlantis, that would be extra cool.
