After having recently come across, read, & enjoyed a couple of stories wherein the characters were mistakenly thought to have become (changed into) an animal, I'm looking to read more --   basically stories where no characters actually become (changed into) animals, but were thought to be whatever animal seems to have been in the right place at the right time and circumstantial evidence seems to support the theory of change whether by actions / reactions or just happening to be sitting on the right pile of clothing & looking similar to the missing person.

Pairings are not important (I'll read whatever pairing is out there for this topic), but please label them where necessary.
