Signifigant, but in their lifetime time travel

There was a search sometime back in May where the person referenced Broken Mirror by Michelel72 and asked for various time travel type fics.

I am looking for something similar. Just like the fic, it doesn't have to be necessarily about time travel, as in it, it was possible the entire Atlantis mission was simply a scenario dreamt up by Rodney because of an Ancient device and the idea of "team work" Specifically, I am looking for something similar, that it fits the following as much as possible:

1) Someone during the Atlantis mission goes back in time to a point previous in their life (i.e. not sent to 5000 years to past Atlantis or something)

2) The time travel is mental (ie they take over their own consciousness, not a duplicate person)

3) They don't simply return to the future

4) They actively work towards changing things (meet up with other personnel, better prepare people for the Atlantis mission, take over the world with knowledge gained from the Ancients)

I don't want time-loop type stories (I have read one where Atlantis itself keeps sending John and Rodney back to stop it from blowing up, and even though it isn't a groundhog day type situation exactly, I am not really looking for that either.)

Also, I would prefer it to either make it to and well into Atlantis, or at least have some sort of resolution (Broken Mirror, while wonderful and promising some sort of sequel from the author feels undone at the moment)

However, like Broken Mirror, if it was a dream, but had the same consequences, that would be fine as well.
