McShep Teacher AUs

I know there's been the searches for high school AUs, and I've read through most of those lists. But what I'm looking for hasn't been on them. I'm looking for the high school ones where either John is a teacher and has Rodney in his class, OR Rodney is a teacher and has John in his class. I'd prefer that they NOT get together while the younger one is in school (too squicky and too close to home for me), but if they hook up after graduation, that'd be AWESOME.

I have been working lots of hours and only having one day off a week so I want some tired/exhausted/just plain sleepy Rodney or John and them being taken care of. McShep is preferred, but I'll try almost anything. Thanks!

Rodney McKay, the Braille-reading Gemologist?

Ok, so the other night I had this dream where Rodney was for some reason the curator of some sort of museum exhibit on the history of braille, or something like that.  Anyway what stuck with me was this scene where Rodney was reading with one hand and typing with the other, bitching all the while.  Which leads me to my first request:

1.  Are there any fics floating around out there that involve Rodney being able to read braille?  Not necessarily ones where he's blind, although those are welcome, too, so long as he can read with his hands.  He's so good with his hands.  I've looked through the 'disability' tags here and at the crossroads, but couldn't find anything quite like what I'm looking for.  Can anyone help?  Does anything like this exist?

Also!  I work in the jewlery dept. at Wal-Mart, and we get shipments in from Lantis Corporation.  Now, even though they make sunglasses, that name sparked an inkling, leading me to my second request:

2.  Rodney as a Gemologist!  The foremost gemologist of his time, in fact!  Are there any stories that contain Rodney as a gemologist? 

Vorkosigan crossovers?

Are there any SGA crossovers with Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan universe out there, please?  Rodney meeting Miles would be awesome.

Gen or McShep for preference but I suspect this is so marginal a crossover that I'll take anything that's there, thanks.
